Jess Parrish Medical Foundation (JPMF) offers several scholarship and grant opportunities.
The Karla Foster, RN, Memorial Nursing Scholarship
Established by her husband Doug, in loving memory of Karla Foster, a professional nurse at Parrish Medical Center (PMC) for more than 22 years. Karla was tragically killed on September 11, 2006 by a hit & run driver. Scholarship applicants must be residents of North Brevard County, be accepted into a nursing program (LPN program acceptable along with other disciplines for transition program), and possess a 3.0 or better grade point average. Contact PMC Human Resources at 321-268-6155 for more information.
The deadline for the 2015 Karla Foster scholarship has passed. Please visit this site again in July 2016.
JPMF Medical Scholarships
In recognition of the generous support given to the Jess Parrish Medical Foundation and Parrish Medical Center Auxiliary by members of the community, Medical Scholarships are available. Scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who reside in the North Brevard County District and who are planning a career in the medical field.
New this year, we combined the scholarship programs for PMC Auxiliary and JPMF. We hope it will provide less confusion to have one point of contact for Parrish Medical Center. The deadline for the 2016 Medical Scholarships is Friday, March 11.
