PAULINE BRYAN SOCIETY
The Pauline Bryan Society, our annual giving club, represents individuals, PMC employees, civic
clubs and businesses making gifts at a minimum of $100 per year.
The society is named in honor of Pauline Bryan, a woman whose personal and financial leadership
helped establish Jess Parrish Memorial Hospital, now known as Parrish Medical Center. She was elected
as the first chairman of the Board of Directors in 1955, serving in that capacity for almost a
quarter century until her retirement in 1977. Through her vision, guidance, and leadership, PMC
continues its strong tradition of healthcare excellence in North Brevard County.
This giving circle was first established in 1987 and re-introduced to the community in 2005.
Because of Mrs. Bryan's special interest in gardening, we have selected a botanical theme for
this giving society.
Jess Parrish Medical Foundation offers special recognition to members of each society. These
special benefactors are members of the Pauline Bryan Society.
